Even the toughest of dog toys will sooner or later meet their match. Always keep a watchful eye on your dog when it plays with or chews on its toy. This is especially important when the toy is new, until you see how it stands up to your specific dog's chewing. When the dog chews on nylon toys, they become "fuzzy" at the edges, which is completely normal. The dog may ingest millimeter-sized slivers of the toy while chewing, and this is completely harmless. However, if your dog manages to break off pieces that it risks swallowing, it is safest to put the toy away.
